The Nebbiolo grapevine is grown in a large area situated both on the right hand side and the left hand one of the river Tanaro, on the hills of both Langhe and Roero. This specific grapevine gives us a generous and top-quality wine
Grapevine species: nebbiolo.
Colour: intense red ruby with orange reflections becoming garnet red with ageing.
Bouquet: a composite and well-defined bouquet with smells of violet, liquorice, raspberry.
Taste: dry and with the right amount of tannins, and it becomes more harmonious and velvety as it ages.
Serving temperature: 16/18° C.
Foods to be served with: very good with main courses based on both red and white meat, and perfect with Piedmontese fondue, a dish made of melted cheese, eggs, and milk.
